There was a serious accident yesterday morning at the Baumgarten natural gas hub near the Austrian-Slovakian border. The result was the suspension of the transmission of natural gas to Slovenia through the Ceršak cross-border entry point from 11 a.m. on.
We are monitoring the situation in Austria very closely, and are in contact with institutions in Slovenia responsible for the reliable supply of natural gas in such situations.
The Energy Agency of the Republic of Slovenia has already announced the end of the early warning alert, as the transmission of natural gas to Slovenia has been normalized since 11 p.m. yesterday and the supply of all customers is proceeding unhindered through a second entry point in Gorica. According to information available to us, no reduction in the supply of natural gas is expected.
