GEN-I receives the Great Seal of the City of Krško

At a ceremony commemorating a local holiday, GEN-I was awarded the Great Seal of the City of Krško in honor of the 10th anniversary of its successful operations. When presenting the seal, the Mayor of Krško, Miran Stanko, emphasized the importance of GEN-I’s contributions to the development of the city’s competitiveness and local employment, and to the visibility, reputation and further development of the city.

As stated for justification of the aforementioned award, GEN-I has ranked as one of the most innovative and fastest growing players on the European energy market since its establishment, and with operations in more than 20 countries enjoys a reputation as a trustworthy partner in the trading, sale and purchase of electricity and natural gas. The company has achieved stable revenue growth throughout its existence, recording average annual growth in revenues of more than 25% and average year-on-year growth in the purchase and sale of energy products of 42.3%, making it one of the fastest growing companies on the European energy market. During just its first decade of operations, the company has already exceeded the magic milestone of EUR 1 billion in revenues, and is thus one of the largest and most profitable companies in the City of Krško.

Such recognition is confirmation of the positive and successful operations of GEN-I, and of the satisfaction of its users, who now number more than 170,000, as well as its employees, management and partners and the local community.
