27/11/2023

With effect from 1 January 2024, the electricity tariffs and the terms and conditions of the regular price list for household customers, which is called the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers, will be amended as explained below. This price list will also replace the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers – July22 and the Electricity Price List for Household Customers - New, which will expire and become inapplicable on 31 December 2023. As of 31 December, the Electricity Price List for Household Customers Who Suffered Damage From the Floods, which applies on the basis of indents 2 and 3 of paragraph two of Article 113 of the Act Determining Intervention Measures for Recovery from the Floods and Landslides of August 2023 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 97/23) to household customers affected by the floods and landslides of August 2023, will also expire and cease to apply. As of 31 December 2023, the electricity tariffs from the Sonce for Heat Pumps special offer price list will also expire.

This means that with effect from 1 January 2024, electricity will be supplied to all household customers who are currently subject to the above-mentioned price lists in accordance with the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers, which will apply to all household customers from 1 January 2024 onwards until revoked/amended. The tariffs for the supply of electricity according to the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers will be as follows: for HT: EUR 0.16290/kWh (price excl. VAT) or EUR 0.19874/kWh (price incl. 22% VAT), for LT: EUR 0,14490/kWh (price excl. VAT) or EUR 0.17678/kWh (price incl. 22% VAT) and for ST: EUR 0.15390/kWh (price excl. VAT) or EUR 0.18776/kWh (price incl. 22% VAT), from 1 January 2024 until revoked/amended.

The prices of the monthly fee, the reduced monthly fee when taking advantage of the ECO discount for electronic billing and the bonuses for the choice of energy source according to the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers will remain unchanged.

Customers who are subject to the Sonce For Heat Pumps special offer price list are hereby expressly informed that, with the introduction of the new price list, they will now be charged a monthly fee of EUR 1.99/metering point/month (price excl. VAT) or EUR 2.43/metering point/month (price incl. 22% VAT) or a reduced monthly fee for taking advantage of the ECO discount for electronic billing of EUR 0.99/metering point/month (price excl. VAT) or EUR 1.21/metering point/month (price incl. 22% VAT), in addition to the existing energy source selection bonus.

The implementation of the new tariffs may result in an increase in the electricity payment for household customers to whom the supplier supplies electricity on and after 1 January 2024 according to the Regular Electricity Price List for Household Customers.

In accordance with the General Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity to Household Customers (hereinafter referred to as the “General Terms and Conditions”), household customers have the right to withdraw from their electricity supply contract(s) in writing within one month of the new tariffs coming into force, without notice and without penalty. The written notice of withdrawal may be sent to the supplier’s e-mail/postal address. In this case, the household customer must make the change as soon as possible in accordance with the regulations, and the supplier GEN-I, d.o.o. will not arrange this change for the customer. The supplier will charge the customer for electricity according to the new price list until the formal change of supplier. In the event of withdrawal from the contract, the customer must pay all outstanding financial obligations to the supplier.

In accordance with the legal requirements and the provisions of the above-mentioned General Terms and Conditions, household electricity customers have been informed of the effective date of the change in tariffs and the price list as well as of the right to withdraw directly by means of a letter which is considered as an addendum to the concluded electricity supply contract and is legally binding.
