GEN-I also ranks first in relations with employees

Our focus on positive HR practices, which among other things give life to our vision of a green future, have been recognized by the general public. The expert committee of the Golden Thread competition named GEN-I the best employer among large enterprises.

We are proud that the aforementioned recognition has won us a place among the very best Slovenian companies at which employees are afforded the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and with them contribute to the success of the organization in Slovenia and in a broader sense. Through the development of the best employment practices, GEN-I also strives for the more dynamic development of jobs and contributes to the improved competitiveness of the Slovenian economy.

The Golden Thread is a unique media research project that rewards the best Slovenian employers based on the quality of the relationship between an organization and its employees. Using an anonymous online questionnaire, which our employees completed, the organizers of the Golden Thread competition verified the work climate and cooperation between GEN-I and its employees.

The expert committee based GEN-I’s selection as best employer on the fact that we are distinguished by balanced performance indicators: from a high level of financial success, and growth in sales and the number of employees to the organizational and personal development of more than 500 employees. “Its practices in connection with the management and development of people put GEN-I on the map of contemporary, innovative and agile companies. These are companies which recognize that it is crucial today to understand and operate according to four priorities: people, profit, planet and purpose,” wrote the expert committee in its justification of the Company’s selection.
