Less is more – responsible use of energy
In 2022, we started the campaign “Together for Lower Energy Consumption”, through which we communicated conservation tips to our customers, developed new functionalities on the Moj GEN-I portal, and began encouraging them to save by offering an additional discount.
With just small adjustments in our everyday lives, we can contribute to reducing energy consumption, and so we actively look for saving opportunities. It is important to us that we do not stop at just raising awareness and encouraging, but also carry out activities that contribute to the reduction of energy consumption, that is, leading by example.
For this purpose, we have created the “From Less to More” community, within which we share tips that lead to energy-saving behavior and encourage various green practices through internal channels. Colleagues join voluntarily. Currently, there are more than 170 members. On a monthly basis, we organize smaller interesting challenges through which every employee can contribute their part to a better future, such as through genius moves, green lunches, the GEN-I market, and many others. On an annual basis, we have set a goal this year to achieve lower energy consumption in our business buildings compared to the previous year.
All employees have the opportunity for active participation. In this way, we have already received many ideas for challenges, social gatherings, or debates within the community. In addition to challenges, we also educate and raise awareness among our colleagues about various green topics, namely by sharing interesting articles, conducting mini surveys as well as distributing current news and effective tips.
The “From Less to More” community enables the strengthening of sustainable thinking and behavior among employees, which are key to achieving goals that will significantly affect our future and the environment. Together, we can create a positive change and show that it is possible to create a better future for all of us with combined efforts.
