Mentoring program
Launched by GEN-I in 2019, the Mentoring Programme aims to promote the transfer of knowledge, values and unwritten rules of engagement, while fostering a culture of collaboration and engagement.
Mentors are GEN-I colleagues, from Board members to other staff, who see a purpose in mentoring, have an intrinsic motivation for continuous learning and a developmental mindset. They are flexible and collaborative, fostering cohesion across hierarchies and contributing to the success of our business.

Mentors and mentees determine the content, timing and objectives of the mentoring relationship. It is based on performance review and feedback and is supported by joint workshops for mentors and mentees as well as individual coaching sessions.
We believe that mentoring pairs can support the development of the key skills of the future, following the so-called T-model. It is a combination of depth of expertise with breadth of proactive engagement as well as innovation, flexibility, initiative as well as social and intercultural skills. This helps both of them to make their work even more meaningful.
