Information technology team (IT) at GEN-I is responsible for all of the Company’s key IT systems, which cover several areas: trading, sales, data analysis, internal corporate systems and other tasks. It also ensures the smooth functioning of the infrastructure and software, upgrades IT systems, and optimizes and deploys new solutions.

In a dynamic environment where a timely response to market events is crucial, IT solutions frequently facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives.

It also ensures the smooth functioning of the infrastructure and software, while the department continuously upgrades systems, and optimizes and deploys new solutions. In a dynamic environment where a timely response to market events is crucial, IT solutions frequently facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives.

GEN-I encourages the exploration and use of new technologies, while developers and architects are often free to choose the most appropriate technology for new projects. We use several different programming languages: .NET Core, Docker, Serverless, AWS and Azure, DevOps, REST API, SQL and others. We remain in step with the latest trends by frequently attending training courses and conferences, while the Company has technology enthusiast groups where we share best practices between different departments.

We are looking for proactive people who enjoy working on IT projects and programming. Employees are broken down into four different areas:

• Software developers with experience in object-oriented programming who, depending on their specific skills and interests, focus on a narrower field. 
• IT project managers who, with their experience in this area and excellent communication skills, ensure that project tasks are on schedule.
• Business/process analysts who are distinguished by sound subject knowledge, thinking outside the box, an analytical approach and a focus on improvement.
• QA workers who are distinguished by precision and perseverance, and automated testers who have a good knowledge of programming.
