In 2017, the GEN-I Group expanded its core activity with the sale, supply and installation of solar power plants and other products aimed at increasing energy efficiency. These services are provided by the subsidiary GEN-I Sonce. We surpassed 3,000 installed panels in 2021, and that number continues to grow significantly. The potential of roofs in Slovenia is enormous. For this reason, we are constantly looking to strengthen our team in this area.

We are the largest supplier of services for the set-up of solar power plants for the self-sufficient supply of electricity to households in Slovenia. Our aim is to continue building solar power plants on apartment buildings and exploit the interest in solar power plants shown by business customers. We are developing the concept of a virtual powerplant in the form of a solar power community. We also aim to gradually enter the e-mobility market through innovative solutions. There is no lack of challenges for us, as our desire is to be the leading company in the transition to a carbon-free society. We advise and guide our customers. Good communication skills are thus a key commodity. We work with both household customers and large enterprises.
