On 15 July 2022, the Decree on the determination of electricity price (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 95/22; hereinafter referred to as the “Decree”) entered into force, which, inter alia, sets the maximum retail electricity price for small business customers (hereinafter referred to as the “maximum electricity price”). The maximum prices allowed under the Decree will apply from 1 September 2022 to 31 October 2023.

After the expiry of that period, a new Decree on the determination of electricity price (Official Gazette of the RS, No. 45/23; both Decrees are hereinafter referred to together as the “Decrees”) will apply from 1 September 2023, which, under the same conditions as the Decree, sets the maximum electricity price for the period from 1 September 2023 to 31 December 2023.

For the purposes of the billing of electricity consumed, the maximum electricity prices as set out in the Decrees will be applied directly on the basis of the Decrees to all small business customers or customers who are subject to the above-mentioned price list and who meet the conditions according to the Decrees*. The electricity tariffs under the Decrees during the period of their validity for eligible small business customers are:
HT: EUR 0.13800/kWh, LT: EUR 0.09900/kWh, ST: EUR 0.12400/kWh (prices excl. VAT) or HT: EUR 0.16836/kWh, LT: EUR 0.12078kWh, ST: EUR 0.15128/kWh (price incl. 22% VAT).

The Decrees do not affect the charging of other items under the above-mentioned price list.

GEN-I, d.o.o. reserves the right to supplement, amend or correct this notice in the event of changes to the Decrees.

*Small business customers, as defined in the applicable Electricity Supply Act, whose sum of the connection capacities of the metering points on the electricity supply contract is equal to or less than 43 kW, which also cumulatively meet the two (2) conditions as set out in the Decrees, namely: (1) the total connection capacity of all the metering points of the small business customer is equal to or less than 86 kW, and (2) the metering points have been granted a connection consent up to and including 21 July 2022 (from 22 July 2022 only if the metering points are metering points of buildings which are newly constructed in accordance with the Act governing construction).

Save money by opting for electronic billing

If you choose to receive an electronic bill for each metering point (as a PDF bill in the Moj GEN-I portal or as an electronic bill in your online bank), you will be entitled to an ECO discount of EUR 1.00 excluding VAT (EUR 1.22 including 22% VAT) per month, thus reducing the cost of your monthly fee by half.

Explanation of the tariffs

The tariff prices in all the price lists published on this website do not include the excise duty on electricity, cost of the network charge, energy efficiency contribution, contribution to support the production of electricity from high efficiency cogeneration and renewable energy sources (CHP and RES contribution), contribution to the operation of the market operator or any other levies imposed by the state.

The duration of each tariff item (HT, LT and ST) is defined in the Legal Act on the methodology for determining the regulatory framework and network charges for the electricity distribution system issued by the Energy Agency.
