Smart Charge is an advanced system for the smart management of charging infrastructure at businesses. It allows for the optimised and automated charging of electric vehicles, thus reducing electricity costs, reducing the load on the network, and making it easier to expand the fleet.
It is aimed at businesses with existing charging stations, and those planning to install them.
The system takes account of key parameters, such as network tariff blocks, electricity prices, rated power, and vehicle arrival/departure schedules. This allows charging to be optimised, which brings savings on the electricity bill.
The vehicle charging is optimised with regard to the parameters that are most important to you, such as electricity price and network charges, priority charging for VIP vehicles, or the optimal use of rated power.
Smart Charge promptly adapts to changes in the energy sector, and continually updates its charging parameters. This makes for effective and flexible management.
Smart Charge ensures the optimal use of rated power, thereby allowing charging infrastructure to be expanded without the extra cost of increasing rated power, and making it possible to upgrade electrical fittings.

The GEN-I group has successfully rolled out the Smart Charge system for managing the charging of its electric vehicles. By the end of 2023 we had electrified 89% of the fleet, thus building one of the largest electrified fleets in Slovenia. We have a total of 75 charging stations at three sites. All of this was achieved without any need for additional investment in rated power, thus reducing the cost of vehicle charging.
