Electricity from a solar power plant even for those who cannot install it themselves.
Self-supply communities comprise solar power units installed by investors and community members, who are then supplied with electricity from those units.
We provide members of a self-supply community with the opportunity to lease a share of solar power units on a long-term basis, even if they are unable to install their own power unit. This provides customers with the high possible savings on their electricity bill.
You do not need to install a solar power unit on your own roof to be part of a self-supply community, which means that you do not pay any installation or maintenance costs, nor are there any costs associated with joining the community.
We determine community members’ shares in such a way that their consumption from the community power units minimises peaks and troughs as much as possible. This provides you with the highest possible savings.
Your savings are greater in the summer months, when electricity production is higher and your electricity needs lower. In winter, when community solar power units generate less energy, your leasing costs are reduced accordingly. This provides you with savings on an annual basis.
A self-supply community provides its members with independence from fluctuations in prices on the electricity market. This means that your energy costs are more predictable as you will be able to cover most of your energy needs with energy from the community solar power plants.
Our first self-supply community began operating in March 2024, and had generated 672,000 kWh of electricity by the end of the year. This reduced CO2 emissions by 92 tonnes and saved members a total of EUR 9,823.
Between June, when most members joined, and the end of the year, each household saved an average of 10% on their electricity bills.

The solar power units are owned by the investor. Customers only have to pay a monthly fee for community self-supply services. Power plants therefore cannot be transferred to community members for permanent ownership.
Yes. We will review the shares once a year based on customers’ consumption. We will then optimise those shares as required and, where necessary, propose that shares be adjusted.
Customers may also propose an increase or reduction in their shares themselves.
Leasing costs may change only in response to unforeseen events on energy markets.
