New pricelists for the supply of natural gas to households and small business customers

GEN-I regularly monitors conditions in Europe and across the world which affect the prices of the energy products that we buy for you. Those prices reached historical highs during the second half of 2021. Conditions were expected to ease after the winter, but the unforeseen war in Ukraine has exacerbated the situation once again. As a result, we must also adapt to the conditions on purchasing markets and align our prices accordingly. For this reason, we are informing customers that two new regular pricelists for the supply of natural gas to households and small business customers will take effect on July 1, 2022.

Notification regarding the entry into force of the new regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to household customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8, effective July 1, 2022

The new regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to household customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 (hereinafter: the new regular pricelist) enters into force on July 1, 2022 and replaces the existing pricelists (the regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to household customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 dated October 1, 2016 and the regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to household customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 dated February 25, 2022), which cease to be in force on July 1, 2022. This means that natural gas will be supplied to all customers for whom the currently valid pricelists apply exclusively according to the new regular pricelist from July 1, 2022 (inclusive). Under the new pricelist, the price for the supply of natural gas will be as follows: 0.04990 (price excluding 22% VAT) or 0.06088 (price including 22% VAT). The entry into force of the new regular pricelist could mean an increase in payments for natural gas supplied to customers by the seller on and after July 1, 2022 according to the aforementioned pricelist (also, for example, following the expiration of the validity of prices agreed in any annex to the relevant supply contract). In accordance with the general terms and conditions of GEN-I, trgovanje in prodaja električne energije, d.o.o. for the supply of natural gas to customers connected to the natural gas distribution system in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 (hereinafter: the general terms and conditions), customers have the right to withdraw from a previously concluded natural gas supply contract or contracts within one month following the entry into force of the new pricelist, without the obligation to give notice or pay a contractual penalty. Written withdrawal can be sent electronically or by regular mail to the seller’s address. In this case, a customer shall switch suppliers by the first possible deadline in accordance with valid regulations. GEN-I, d.o.o. shall not be obliged to arrange that switch for the customer. The seller shall charge the customer for natural gas according to the new regular pricelist (unless prices agreed in an annex to the relevant contract are valid) until the formal switching of suppliers. In the event of withdrawal from a contract, a customer shall settle all previously unsettled financial liabilities to the seller.

Taking into account legal requirements and the provisions of the above-mentioned general terms and conditions, natural gas customers shall be informed of changes and the effective date of the new pricelist and the right of withdrawal directly by means of notification on the reverse side of the natural gas bill or by separate letter, which shall be deemed an annex to the relevant contract and shall be legally binding.

The new regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to business customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 (hereinafter: the new regular pricelist) enters into force on July 1, 2022 and replaces the existing pricelists (the regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to business customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 dated September 1, 2015 and the regular pricelist for the supply of natural gas to business customers in consumption groups CDK1 to CDK8 dated February 25, 2022), which cease to be in force on July 1, 2022. This means that natural gas will be supplied to all customers for whom the currently valid pricelists apply exclusively according to the new regular pricelist from July 1, 2022 (inclusive).

Under the new pricelist, the price for the supply of natural gas will be as follows: 0.04990 (price excluding 22% VAT).

The entry into force of the new regular pricelist could mean an increase in payments for natural gas supplied to customers by the seller on and after July 1, 2022 according to the aforementioned pricelist (also, for example, following the expiration of the validity of prices agreed in any annex to the relevant supply contract).
