Carbon-free electricity, which we supply to all our customers in Slovenia from the beginning of summer 2021, has become a standard here. We have gone one step further and offer our customers the option of choosing the source from which we obtain electricity. The energy of the sun, water and nuclear energy can provide Slovenia with a carbon-free future and a green transformation.
According to the Act on the Method of Presenting Information on Electricity Bills and its accompanying clarification (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 28/2023, including amendments and supplements), electricity suppliers must provide end customers with information about the shares of individual energy sources used to generate the supplied electricity, based on the supply contract. This information is included on every electricity bill issued, in promotional materials, and on our website.
In accordance with the aforementioned act, we are also providing you with information on the shares of individual energy sources in the total energy mix of the supplied electricity, the amount of CO2 emissions, and the quantity of radioactive waste for the total energy mix of electricity supplied by GEN-I, d.o.o. in the year 2024.
