Since 2017, when we introduced a full-service solution for the installation and maintenance of solar power plants to the Slovenian market, we have become the leading provider of renewable energy solutions in Slovenia. To date, we have enabled the green transformation of more than 12,000 households and more than 170 companies, contributing to the production of several hundred GWh of green electricity and to a reduction of CO₂ emissions by tens of thousands of tonnes.

At GEN-I Sonce, we are the largest provider of solar power plant installation for household self-sufficiency in Slovenia. Our activities include:

• Home and small business customers: installation of solar power plants and energy storage systems, advisory services on optimising consumption and achieving self-sufficiency.


• Business customers: development of standard and advanced solar solutions, solar carports, electricity storage systems and hybrid systems.


• Servicing and maintenance: proactive system performance monitoring, remote fault diagnostics, preventive inspections and direct user support.


• Large RES projects: development, construction and sale of ground-mounted solar power plants and electricity storage systems for investors in Slovenia and the region (North Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria).

• Technical specialists who ensure high-quality installation, correct system operation and advanced technical support for customers.


• Warehouse staff and procurement specialists who manage supply chains, ensure timely delivery of equipment and cooperate with suppliers.
