The GEN-I IT team takes care of the company's key information systems that support our main areas of business – trading, energy supply, and sustainable solutions. We ensure the smooth operation of infrastructure and software, provide a high level of information security, develop new business and IT systems, while optimizing existing ones and introducing new solutions. By introducing and using the latest technologies, IT is the driving force behind digital transformation.

We operate in four areas that together enable the smooth running of the company and support all business functions:

• Trading support: We develop and maintain systems that support the trading of electricity, other energy products and financial instruments. These systems enable a rapid response to market changes, and ensure the reliable execution of transactions and efficient data processing.


• Support to sales and internal processes: IT solutions support sales processes and internal functions such as finance, human resources, legal and other shared services. The goal is to optimise business, digitalise services and provide user-friendly IT services.


• Infrastructure and user support: We ensure the smooth operation of servers, computer equipment, networks, and the entire IT infrastructure. We offer users swift and efficient IT support – from troubleshooting technical issues to advising on the use of systems.


• Cyber security and compliance: Special emphasis is placed on protecting information systems and data and ensuring compliance with legislation, guidelines, and best practices. The team raises awareness of information security risks and ensures appropriate protective measures are in place.
