The field of sustainability and innovation at GEN-I combines strategic, developmental, and regulatory aspects of energy. We monitor and understand the framework in which the energy market operates and ensure that our operations comply with the European Union's sustainability goals and standards.

As a result, our products have won awards for innovation in various competitions (Bronze Regional Award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia for the best innovations of 2025, Award for Energy Efficiency in Transport and Logistics 2025 by Finance newspaper). We do everything from application development to the use of artificial intelligence in electricity price forecasting.
