Progress in the development of the "Mobile Energy Autonomous Unit" project
As part of the 2024 Sustainability Call, GEN-I has supported three projects that contribute to sustainable development through innovative solutions. One of the awarded projects is the Mobile Autonomous Energy Source by the company Center for Green Technologies (CZT), which harnesses renewable energy to enable energy independence in various locations.
The Mobile Autonomous Energy Unit, designed to provide clean and reliable energy in areas without access to the power grid, was named GreenGo (Gringo) last month, reflecting its unique capabilities. Equipped with a hybrid solar panel system, an inverter, and lithium-ion batteries, it can be easily transported to any location using a standard car. The unit is built to power a wide range of events—cultural, sports, educational, tourism, and humanitarian—even in remote areas like national parks and forests where electricity is unavailable.
The project is making steady progress. The technical specifications for the chassis and design solutions for the upper structure have been finalized, and the system has already been manufactured and delivered to CZT.
A solar optimization study has also been completed to ensure full energy independence of the unit. In the coming months, further structural adjustments, interior design, energy system optimization, and exterior styling will take place. CZT aims to complete the project by June or July.
The project is progressing on schedule, with a clear focus on developing an innovative and sustainable mobile energy unit.
